I know as homeowners we want to keep our costs low for anything we can, especially with the rising prices of just about everything now-a-days. There are some things we just should leave to the professionals though. 

Many people may have gotten nice new big toys for Christmas that need special outlets or accommodations in the home. Some of these things may range from a tank less water heater to a hot tub or even an electric bike. These toys may need a special configuration in your home in order to charge correctly and not catch a flame while charging. 

This is the time to call in an electrician to do these services for you. We see many different scenarios after Christmas because someone tried to do it themselves and caused more harm than good. 

Following up on doing it yourself, New Years Eve we often see fireworks being used and can be quite dangerous if not extinguished correctly. Leaving a lit firework alone could cause anything from a small fire to an entire house fire because it caught onto something much bigger. 

Whether it is fireworks or outlets, leave it to the professionals that know how to keep you and your family safe!
