Commercial Water Damage – Cape Canaveral
SERVPRO of New Smyrna Beach was called out to this commercial water damage in Cape Canaveral. A leaking coffee station in this vacant office building had run for several weeks before it was detected. The warm summer temperatures encouraged microbial growth. It resulted in a Category 3 water loss and mold remediation. Water had wicked up the walls over three feet. The existing glue-down carpet had to be removed, along with much of the drywall. The landlord was showing the space to a prospective tenant when the loss was discovered and did not want to lose their prospect. SERVPRO went to work immediately and completed the remediation within 48 hours of receiving notice of the loss. The drywall was installed the day after the remediation, and the new tenant signed a lease for the space.
