Mold Damage – Cocoa Beach Home
Mold damage can sometimes be concealed between walls and floors where it 's hard to detect. A slow leaking bathtub drain from the bathroom above this Cocoa Beach dining room had been dripping for several years. The homeowner was not aware of it until a problem developed with the electrical requiring the ceiling to be opened. The mold was growing in the space between the floors and down the exterior and side walls of the room. The restoration required the drywall, some of the structure, and electrical in the ceiling to be replaced. But, SERVPRO of New Smyrna Beach was able to remediate the mold from the ceiling joists and the underside of the subfloor. In the after picture, you see the completed remediation to the ceiling structure. The after photo on the right shows the restored dining room after the construction.
