Storm Damage – New Smyrna Beach Home

Storm damage breached the roof of this home in New Smyrna Beach tearing roofing materials away and allowing rainwater to penetrate the ceiling. The ceiling and walls of several rooms were damaged like the one shown in this picture. The owners acted quickly and called SERVPRO of New Smyrna Beach – Titusville. Their decisive action allowed us the to restore rather than replace the building materials affected by the storm. The moisture did not have the time spawn mold before we started the drying process. We employed commercial air movers and dehumidification equipment to aid the drying process. Moisture and temperature were continuously monitoring the drying process to determine when the building materials had dried out.
