Commercial Water Damage – Cape Canaveral Gym

Commercial Water Damage occurred at this Cape Canaveral gym as a result of a roof leak that developed during a severe thunderstorm. Winds were so severe that several portions of the roofing material were torn away. SERVPRO of New Smyrna Beach was contacted during the storm to provide emergency tarps for the roof to stem the damage that was occurring. Once the storm subsided, the proprietors asked us to provide water restoration services. There was standing water to extract and the drop ceiling to take down and dry. Of course, the roof repair came first followed by the water removal. Once the standing water was gone, we set up drying with commercial air movers and dehumidifiers. The entire process was monitored and documented for the proprietors and their insurance adjuster.
